I wrote a number of articles about historical aunts for Savvy Auntie, including authors Jane Austen and Louisa May Alcott, Holocaust heroine Truus Wijsmuller Meijer, John Lennon’s Auntie Mimi, and the “Downton aunties” who came of age after World War One. I also researched and wrote an article about how to say “auntie” all over the world, as well a humorous Christmas piece about Mrs. Claus.
