History

You can read my article about Ireland and pirates on the Ireland Before You Die web site.

I wrote a guest post about Daphne du Maurier for the Amazing Women in History web site.

I wrote a number of articles about historical aunts for Savvy Auntie, including authors Jane Austen and Louisa May Alcott, Holocaust heroine Truus Wijsmuller Meijer, John Lennon’s Auntie Mimi, and the “Downton aunties” who came of age after World War One. I also researched and wrote an article about how to say “auntie” all over the world, as well a humorous Christmas piece about Mrs. Claus.
